Soundset 2018 More than just music: Recap
First of all I would like to apologize as this was something I intended on sharing with you all awhile ago. In life we all have or ups and downs, the things we focus on and our distractions. Soundset 2018 was an event I was happy to attend despite the heat and humidity. I was lucky enough to see acts such as Rapsody (Who gave some very wonderful advice to up and coming artists about their brand, music, and paper), Jack Harlow, J.I.D, Jaden Smith, Prof, Russ, Wu-Tang Clan, Erykah Badu (My Queen), Tyler the Creator (My spirit animal) and more! As the day got later the crowds got bigger and I took advantage of exploring the other aspects of the monumental festival. With my journalist had on I managed to snag interviews with Rhymesayers artists prof and the newly signed Nikki Jean! With my interviews locked down I started exploring by proximity and based on the provided schedule. Just outside of the VIP area there was live painting, and "risk" painting experience, graffiti...
