This topic has been a long time coming! I can approach this at  so many angles especially since with or without the people I'm using as examples, the subject matter remains to be one that is timeless as long as humans exist on Earth. In today's society we have various sayings and terms that relate to the current times. Although I think every good writer does a hiatus every now and then I must apologize for my abrupt absence. Although I have been very much present on social media that good ol writers block had me out for the count. After being fat shamed and coming to some realizations about myself and relationships, I needed a mental break to move on from the literal bullshit. For weeks prior to the big countdown I saw posts of new year new me. Leave the snakes in 2017 blah blah blah. Change is hard. Like really hard. I've done some real big soul searching and what I have concluded is that I am lazy in others eyes but I know that I am exhausted. Each day is an opportunity to get more energy, make a different move, and do something extraordinary. I welcome everyone to have "me" time and really reflect on what could use some change, what can be done and the patience that is necessary.
